Jeanette Francis Rohmfeld Schwartz, 77, went to meet her Lord on Thursday July 23, 2015 peacefully at her residence.
Rosary will be held 7:00pm Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Wall.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Pastor-Fr. Joseph Choutapalli officiating. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Blackburn II, Jimmy Winans, Jordan Hayes, David Rohmfeld, Jeffery Hayes and BJ Wilde.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dale Little, Johnny Latzel and Tony Wilde and Anthony Santiago, and Cole Cliffton.
Jeanette was born in Ballinger on August 1, 1937 to Ferdinand and Helena (Hoelscher) Rohmfeld. She attended school at Olfen, Texas and later she married Jerome J. Schwartz on June 13, 1955 in Olfen at St. Boniface Church and had three children.
Jeanette worked at Monarch Tile and retired from Ethicon. One of her biggest accomplishments was obtaining her General Education Development (GED) and getting her Commercial driver's license (CDL) to drive trucks across the 48 states and Canada.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lucille Buxkemper, Ora Mae Latzel, Viola Wilde, Evangeline Sturm, and brother Sylvester “Pete” Rohmfeld.
She is survived by the father of her children, daughters Clara Schwartz-Blackburn and her husband Lawrence and Ellen Schwartz, son Thomas Schwartz all of San Angelo, sister Ann Marie Schwartz and her husband Alfred of St. Lawrence, brothers Wilbert Rohmfeld and his wife Zita of Levelland, Raymond Rohmfeld and his wife Patsy of Ballinger, Dennis Rohmfeld and his wife Lucille of Ballinger, Ferdinand “Bugs” Rohmfeld and his wife Sylvia of San Antonio, grandchildren Delicia Hayes and her husband Jeff, Lawrence Blackburn II and his wife Rondi, great grandchildren Cole Cliffton, Jordan Hayes, Hayden Blackburn, and Ryann Blackburn all of San Angelo, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
