Frank Novak Jr. was born on September 10, 1929 in Globe, Arizona to Frank Novak and Ida Novak Sr.
Frank had retired from Firestone in Fort Stockton where he raised his family. Family was so important to him and he cared deeply for his family. He was a loving father that made certain the people he loved never had need for anything and was a generous man. Frank was also a devoted Christian and nothing pleased him more than to share the good news of our Lord and Savior. He would talk about the Lord’s love to everybody he talked with. His desire for everyone, especially his family, was to be saved, something he spoke of often. When he wasn’t telling people about his love for the Lord he enjoyed watching football and Christian television.
Frank is preceded in death by his brother Johnny Novak.
Frank is survived by his five brothers, Stanley Novak, Larry Novak, Norbert Novak, Phil Novak and Bobby Daniels; sisters Ida, Sandra and Margie; his only child Gena May and husband Lee reside in Carlsbad. Frank had two grandchildren, Mike Walters of Midland and Shelli Rushing and husband Coley of Wichita Falls; three great-granddaughters, Hanna, Dakota and Kinsey as well as many nieces and nephews.
Daddy had received hospice care for almost a year. The family would like to thank the staff of Baptist Hospice, especially Dr, Barnett. Dr. Barnett took such great care of Daddy and even made house calls for us. Daddy enjoyed Dr. Barnett remarking that he always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed his nurse Debbie and always looked forward to seeing her and spoke highly of her. The family would also like to say special thanks to Rosa Ibarra. Rosa came to our home and cared for Daddy daily as if he were her own father. That meant so much to us and we thank God everyday for allowing Rosa to be a part of our lives.
