I saw the light leave your eyes today
like a path grown over seem to have lost my way
But then the light broke thru in your smile
Though your life is fading in just a little while
You will soar to the loving arms of an unseen Savior
To receive a light that is even greater
There is definitely beauty in the pain
But where light broke thru you left an indelible stain
So I release the light that has covered my life
May it shine in the darkness and breed new life
A legacy of love not soon forgotten that will forever remain
To live is Christ and to die is gain
So go on and shine Mama Shine
I know we will
Its not goodbye it is G-D be with you
Until we meet again
