Cynthia Louise Bishop, age 65, passed away the morning of March 20, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer. Cindy was born on February 11, 1950 in San Angelo, TX to Marvin “Red” B. Robertson and the late Pearl P. Grosshans.
Cindy is survived by her partner, Wilbert “Scooter” Faull; daughters Amy Bishop and Jacquelyn Hernandez of San Angelo, TX; granddaughters Bailey and Tristan Hernandez; and several relatives and friends
Cindy taught special education for 27 years, 19 of those in San Angelo, before “retiring”. She went on to work for Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Angelo, White Sands National Monument in New Mexico, and spent the last 7 years as a guide and teacher for Fort Concho Historic Site in San Angelo.
During her free time Cindy enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Over the years she enjoyed yearly trips to the beach with her daughters and was a frequent visitor to Big Bend National Park and the Davis Mountains.
There will be a private visitation and remembrance for family members and friends at 3202 S. Oxford Drive, San Angelo, TX from 4PM to 7PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.
