Carolyn Elaine Birch Timmons, 75 , of San Angelo, Texas passed away after a long battle with cancer, on December 24th at the Christopher House in Austin, Texas. Carolyn died peacefully with her family there with her. Carolyn was the daughter of Cecil Smith Birch and Opal M. Rowan Birch of San Angelo, Texas. She is survived by two sons, Bryan & wife, Karen of Blanco, Texas;Derek and wife Alva of Llano, Texas; 6 grandsons, Ryan Harte of Daingerfield,Tanner & wife Chelsea, Kyle, Texas; Jeremy, Buda, Texas; Blake, Corpus Christi, Texas; Kurt, Buda, Texas; Ross, Kingsland, Texas; Grandaughter, Kaily Sieck & husband, Blake, Kingsland, Texas; and one great grandson, Hudson Timmons of Kyle, Texas; one nephew, Clay Mitchell and wife, Carol, from Slaton, Texas and daughters Abigail and Sara; one brother-in-law, Don Mitchell and wife, Beth from Lubbock, Texas. Preceded in death was mother & father, and sister, Patti Mitchell. Carolyn graduated from San Angelo High School and attended Texas Tech in Lubbock.
She lived many years in Buda, Texas and was head accountant at 3-J Grain and Feed Store in Buda for years.
She was a loving mother and her grandchildren and great grandson were "the apple of her eye"
Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral home, 435 West Beauregard Avenue, San Angelo, Texas on Sunday 4-6 and agin at noon on December 29th, 2014 followed by a chapel service of remembrance at 1:00 in the chapel. Interment will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, Avenue N in San Angelo, Texas. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society or The Christopher House in Austin in Carolyn's name. Afterwards the family will gather at the home of Carolyn in San Angelo for visiting.
