Pauline Clark Greer, 88, of San Angelo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 10, 2014.
She was born June 18, 1926 in Paris, TX, to Henry Virgil Clark and Lillie Tennessee (Dunn) Clark. She had three brothers and two sisters.
She married Robert Morris Greer in 1946. They were blessed with four children.
She never met a stranger. She loved people and especially loved to cook for family and friends. There was always a story to be shared over her homemade pie and always ended with her asking if she could pray for whoever was there. She was a charter member of Parkside Community Church and faithfully enjoyed attending and spending the summers at church camp.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, L.N. Clark; a sister, Anna Thorp; grandson, Casey Babitzke and great-grandaughter, Kinley Earnshaw.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert M. Greer; Sister, Ruby Zoellner of San Angelo; brothers, H.V. Clark of Odessa and Bill Clark and wife Kayron of San Angelo; daughter Linda Babitzke and husband Dennis of San Angelo, son Steve Greer of Odessa, daughter Sue Burleson and husband Bill of Odessa, son Mark Greer of San Angelo; grandchildren Michael Greer, David Greer, Linsey Simmons and husband SirRon, Brian Burleson and wife Jenny, Karla Earnshaw and husband Jeff, Troy Burleson and wife Brittney; great-grandchildren, Jayce, Kimbrey and Jaren Earnshaw, Marlee Simmons, Miles Mancha; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Senior Care, Gentiva Hospice, Dr. Chitwood, the church family of Parkside Community and Charles and Shirley Smith.
Family will receive friends for the visitation 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2014, at Johnson's Funeral Home. A Celebration of Pauline's Life will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Park.
