Robert Craig "Bob" Easley, 74, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Sunday November 2, 2014. Bob was born May 29, 1940 in Norman, OK to Elmer and Betty Easley. He grew up in Illinois and moved to San Angelo in 1951. Bob served his country in the United States Army as well as the National Guard. He was employed as a computer programmer for GTE Data Services. He retired from GTE in 1995. He then worked for USAA Insurance Company for 10 more years. After his retirement from USAA , Bob fulfilled his love for nature by traveling across the United States and visiting national parks and habitats. Bob was an avid sports fan. He held season tickets for all of the local minor league sports teams and he especially enjoyed going to the Colts games. Bob also loved watching the national sports teams on television and following "Pete's Pond" in Africa on his computer. He enjoyed attending local civic theatre productions and going to the San Angelo Symphony. All of this he enjoyed with his companion of seventeen years, Jerry Eudy. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Bill Easley and his longtime companion Jerry Eudy, who passed away earlier this year. Bob is survived by his children, Brian Easley of Round Rock, Craig Easley and his wife Julia of Atlanta, Ga., Carrie McCormick of Alpharetta, Ga.; several grandchildren; his brothers, John G. Easley of Tulsa, Steve Easley and his wife Barby, of San Angelo; his sister, Suzanne Hageman and her husband Don of San Angelo and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
