SAN ANGELO Lloyd Alford Huntley, 92, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 8, 2014, in a local care center. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 12, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. Lloyd was born Aug. 22, 1921, in Arkansas. He proudly served in the Navy during World War II, during the invasion of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He worked at Wendland's Manufacturing for 33 years, he was shop foreman for many of those. He married the love of his life, Juanita Robertson Huntley, on Aug. 24, 1940. They spent 73 remarkable years together. Surviving Lloyd are wife Juanita; children Ronny Huntley, Laurette and Ray Ernst and Elaine and Tom Lee; and grandchildren Brian and Steve Huntley, Kenny Jo Tarin, Dallas Seals, Ella Nichols, Jeff Ernst, Chancey Burrows, Brande Hudson and Shelley Knowlton.
