Our loving husband, father, and "Papaw," B.C. Fogle went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 6, 2013.
B.C. was born August 27, 1923 in Lockhart, Texas to Claud William Fogle and Norma William Evans. He was a WWII veteran, entering the U.S. Navy on January 22, 1943 and was later transferred to the Marine Corp, where he attained the rank of Pharmacist's Mate. He spent his time of service in the Pacific until November 24, 1945, at which time he received an Honorable Discharge at Norman, Oklahoma.
B.C. owned and operated Fogle's Wood Mill until his retirement in 1988.
B.C. married Reba Dell Sinclair August 21, 1943. To this union was born one son, Gary C. Fogle. They were faithful members of the Johnson Street Church of Christ until Reba's untimely death. BC married Merle Phillips July 3, 1970. He is survived by wife Merle, son Gary and wife Pam, two step-daughters, Linda Meyer and Kaye Marsh and husband Jesse; as well as numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Visitation will be at Johnson's Funeral Home, Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 6-7 p.m. His service will be at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel, Monday December 9, 2013 at 2pm. Interment to follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
