Jacob English Signs his Letter of Intent with Angelo State

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Central Bobcats wide receiver and High Jump school record holder Jacob English with Angelo State University at the Central Turfroom on Wednesday night at San Angelo Stadium. The talented young man made the decision to stay home after an incredibly successful year in Track and Field. Friends, family, and teammates from the football, basketball, and track team all showed up to support English’s big moment.

Head Bobcats Track Coach Truman Reagan spoke to the audience about English. He praised his character and work ethic during Jacob’s senior year before letting English’s dad have the floor. Afterward, applause filled the turf room as English signed his letter of intent. Friends and family posed for pictures with the Angelo State signee before the evening was over.

English commits to ASU to only do Track and Field for now, but the ex-wide receiver says that football or basketball is still an option. English played football and basketball and ran track for the Bobcats this season.
