Police Identify Bellagio Apartment Burglary Suspects

At 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, San Angelo police responded to a burglary call at the Bellagio Apartments located in the 2500 block of Sweetbriar Dr.  Officers arrived and witnesses gave descriptions of the suspects and gave their last known direction of travel.   Officers quickly located one of the suspects, 18-year-old Favian Martinez, walking in the 2500 block of Lindenwood and placed him in custody.

The second suspect was also on foot and was being followed by a witness to the burglary.  The witness called dispatch and gave the location of the suspect.  Officers arrived and arrested the second suspect, Sean Ricks 20, in the 2600 block of Hemlock.  Items found on Ricks were confirmed stolen from the apartment.

Ricks and Martinez were charged with Burglary of a Habitation and transported to the Tom Green County Jail.  Both Ricks and Martinez were not cooperative at the jail and became combative towards the transporting officers and jailers.  Both were subsequently charged with Resisting Arrest or Search.
