WATCH: Elderly Woman Injured by SUV in Ross Parking Lot

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – An elderly woman was hit and injured in the Ross parking lot in southwest San Angelo Thursday afternoon.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, on Apr. 6 at around 1:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Sunset Blvd, the Ross Dress for Less parking lot, for the report of a major crash.

 

When the officers arrived, they discovered a white Ford Edge that had struck and injured an 81-year-old woman in the parking lot of the Sunset Shopping Center. The 32-year-old female driver of the Edge stayed to help aid the crash victim. She also was the one who called police to the scene.

The elderly woman was taken to the hospital for an in jury to the back of her head. It did not seem life threatening as she was taken to Shannon in a personal vehicle.

No citations were issued at the scene on private property in the lot.
