Two Injured in House Party Shooting

 

HOUSTON, TX -- A house party turned violent early Sunday morning in Houston according to the police department.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, several people were standing in the driveway of a home around 1:30 a.m. when an unidentified suspect walked up and opened fire.

At least two individuals were injured and transported to a local hospital. Their condition is described as stable.

According to authorities, a bystander who witnessed the shooting crashed into a parked car in an attempt to flee the scene.

As deputies searched the area for the alleged shooter, one deputy was attacked by a pit bull but was not bitten.
