Authorities Locate Body of Missing Levelland Man

LEVELLAND, TX -- The Levelland Police Department has confirmed the body of Greg Balboa was located in New Mexico Monday.

According to authorities, his body was located by deputies in Curry County NM. No additional information regarding the cause of death or circumstances has been released at this time.

"We are asking that the public keep the Balboa family in prayer as they go through this difficult time," said Levelland PD in a statement on social media. "The Levelland Police, Curry County Sheriff's Office and Texas Rangers are continuing with the investigation. Levelland Police Department would also like to thank everyone who called or responded with possible information."

Balboa was originally reported missing last Friday.
