Gov. Abbott Delivers State of the State Address Monday Night

 

AUSTIN, TX – Texas Governor Greg Abbott will be delivering the State of the State address Monday night which will give an update on the state of Texas.

According to the Governor's Office, on Feb. 1 starting at 7 p.m., Abbott will give an update on the state of Texas. 

Topics will include the COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19 vaccines, reopening businesses that were forced to close, and public school funding. Abbott is also going to list his most important “emergency issues” he wants state lawmakers to address during the legislative session.

One of these issues is expected to be the topic of defending police.
