Motor Cycle Crash Involving Deer Ends With One Fatality

 

HASKELL COUNTY, TX - During the weekend, a motorcycle crash ended with one fatality in Haskell County. On Saturday, Oct. 15, at 8 p.m., a crash occurred on US-380, two miles west of Rule.

Trooper Aaron Doyle with DPS Haskell investigated the scene. The synopsis of the event noted that “[the motorcycle] was traveling west on US-380 [and] struck a deer in the roadway." The vehicle then skidded off the road into the north barrow ditch.

Michael S. Lynchesky, 39, of Artesia, New Mexico, was the driver of the 2012 Harley Davidson. Lynchesky was pronounced dead at the scene.

Passenger Patricia Denson, 46, of Artesia New Mexico, was stable and suffered non-incapacitating injuries. She was transported to Haskell Memorial Hospital.
