University of North Texas System Board of Regents Has Three New Appointees

 

Governor Greg Abbott appointed three members to the University of North Texas System Board of Regents with terms set to expire on May 22, 2021. These appointees, and one re-appointee include A.K. Mago, Laura Wright and Brint Ryan, said a press release Monday.

According to the press release, chairman and CEO of Mago and Associates, Inc., A.K. Mago received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. He was awarded the Padma Shri Award by the president of India in 2014 and is a member of the Dallas Regional Chamber Board.

Financial consultant of GSB Advisory, L.L.C. Laura Wright serves on the Board of Directors for CMS Energy and Daseke Inc., and she is a member of the Texas State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Wright received a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas.

Brint Ryan, chairman and CEO of Ryan, LLC, received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas. Additionally, he is a board member of many associations and committees.
