The meet is vital in preparing our local student-athletes for their district meets later in the season, and several record-setting performances happen at San Angelo Stadium every year. In 2023, Jacob English, a recent Central High School Graduate, set the Central High School and San Angelo Relays record for High Jump in front of a crowd. That performance, along with others, helped him earn a track and field scholarship with Angelo State University.

This year, our COVER1 team will be at the relays to bring results, highlights, and several interviews with the student-athletes who compete. Come out and support our local track and field stars as they showcase their talents this weekend.
