TLCA Eagles Wins Back-to-Back District Championships in Nail Biter Against Wall Hawks

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The TLCA Eagles are now the big dogs in San Angelo after winning back-to-back 3A Region 1 District 6 basketball championships on Tuesday night. 

The Eagles beat the Wall Hawks in a nail biter, on Feb. 15, 2023, at home 35-34. Here is video of the crowd after the game:

 

 

The TLCA Eagles will play the Brady Bulldogs to start their playoff run. As for the Hawks, their playoff hopes are more than still alive as they face a 10-11 Ingram Moore team. 

With both of these teams combined win total over 40 they are both predicted to make a deep run. This year for their bracket the regional tournament will be held at Lubbock Christian University and the State Tournament will be at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio.
