The downtown skate park, which has been closed since late May to accommodate a sewer line replacement in the area, reopened Thursday. The park is at 100 W. Veterans’ Memorial Drive (formerly West River Drive).
The downtown location is one of two City skate parks frequented by skateboarders, rollerbladers and roller skaters. The other is at Kirby Community Park, 1401 Edmund Blvd.
