From Romania to San Angelo: Dorin Aschilean Is Living The American Dream

SAN ANGELO, TX -- It was back in March when Dorin Marin Aschilean's life changed forever. He along with 30 others were naturalized as United States Citizens at the O.C. Fisher Federal Building. 

Since then Aschilean has not only been enjoying life as an American, but has taken steps to become a proud American business owner. 

On Friday of last week, Dorin along with his wife Carrie have opened Dorin's Thrift Avenue located at 2428 Sherwood Way. 

From his home country of Romania, Dorin has come a long way to not only become a United States Citizen but to a live a life he could once only dream of. 

The Aschilean's along with family friend Brittany Ionita talk about the journey to opening the thrift store and what it means to be living the American Dream.
