SAN ANGELO – Reece Albert, Inc. road crews opened two lanes of the low water crossing on Southwest Blvd. by McDonald's Thursday morning after several months of construction.
The troubled section of roadway crossing the Red Arroyo has been a pain to motorists for years because the soil beneath the roadbed buckles and shifts as water and clay interact.

Construction work continues on major intersections along Southwest Blvd. as part of the project to completely rebuild the street from Loop 306 to Twin Mountain Lane by Lamar Elementary School.
The remaining lanes will open once crews finish concrete and drainage work on the project.

Does the city not have performance bonds tied to contracts anymore ?
The timeline on the Southwest Blvd construction is a joke at best.
