SAN ANGELO, TX – Goodfellow Air Force Base is instructing all visitors and personnel using a vehicle to enter the base through the North Gate on Monday and Tuesday.
According to Goodfellow AFB, the Jacobson Gate or South Gate, which is used by most visitors, will be closed for maintenance from Monday at 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Pedestrian foot traffic can still access the base through the Jacobson Gate until 10 p.m.
After obtaining the appropriate pass, visitors will be directed to the North Gate –– visitors can obtain passes at the North Gate after duty hours.
The Visitor Control Center will be open under normal operations, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Commercial Vehicle Inspection Area will remain open under normal operations from Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
