SAN ANGELO, TX- “This is it. This is our final [giveaway] of the year,” said Mack Harper, sales manager of Jim Bass Cars & Trucks while opening up the final $100,000 test drive giveaway.
Harper continued, “First off, the number one thing I want to say is thank you. Thank you to the community. We do a lot of events for the community and that’s just because you guys do so much for us.”
As he talked, five finalists waited with hope to see who would be the lucky winner of a brand new Ford Focus. Each contestant made their way to the hopper to enter their name.
After spinning the hopper around and around, the lucky winner name was drawn. When his name was called, William Lloyd stood up in triumph.
Lloyd was overjoyed, and said he has never won anything big like this before. He explained that he had just purchased a Ford Escape a couple of months ago, but he really wants a pickup truck. This new car will make a great trade-in.
“That’s probably what I’ll end up doing,” Lloyd noted.
Lloyd is a farmer and rancher and said he would use the pickup to work on the ranch. For now, however, he basked in the joy of winning.

In the past, Jim Bass gave away Ford Fiestas for the test drive giveaway. This time, the dealership gave away a Ford Focus, which values $2,000 more than the Fiesta.
