This morning it was reported that Robby Loving, Head Golf Professional at Bentwood Country Club, was involved in an accident in Colorado that claimed his life. The details of the accident are unknown at this time, but it has been confirmed with officials that Loving did not survive.
Patrick Ferkany, General Manager at Bentwood Country Club issued a press release earlier stating the MGA Playday that was scheduled for today had been cancelled. The Daddy and Me Tournament slated for tomorrow will proceed as planned, with memories of Loving in mind. Ferkany asked that prayer be said for Loving and his family in this difficult time.
For those that knew Loving, his adventurous spirit, drive for perfection, love for old county music and contagious smile will be sorely missed.
