Group Organizes "Paint the Town Blue" for San Angelo Police

The Concho Valley Citizens Care group is encouraging the citizens of San Angelo to "Paint the Town Blue" during Police Memorial Week, May 11-15.  San Angelo Police Officers will nominate and vote on the best residential and business display of blue ribbons.

The winners will be announced on May 14 to the media.  You can put blue ribbons on your mailbox, cactus, tree, business door, car, classroom, office, etc.

Local Businesses are encouraged to honor Law Enforcement this week by displaying the blue ribbons and if possible have signage reflect Remembrance of those Officers that gave their lives in the line of duty such as our Native Son, Jamie Pardon.

CVCC hopes all of San Angelo will join them in this display of support and remembrance for San Angelo police.

Citizens can  message or Tweet @SanAngeloPolice a photo of your display.

Michaels and Hobby Lobby both have blue ribbons and bows available for purchase.

For more information, please call the event's organizer, Pam Robinson, at (325) 895-5167.
