Here’s The Schedule For The Final Week Of Rodeo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Association has announced its final performance schedule at the San Angelo Coliseum, 50 E 43rd St.

The event, which runs from April 17 through April 21, features various attractions, including a carnival, vendor shopping, live music, and rodeo competitions.

Kicking off today, Wednesday, April 17, the festivities begin at 5 p.m. with the Western Finance Carnival and vendor shopping available until 11 p.m. 

Highlights of the evening include performances by Carson Jeffrey at the Buffalo Social Club and Bobbi Wilson at the Wine Tent. The venues are open until 1 a.m. and midnight. The first of the PRCA rodeo events will start at 7:30 p.m.

The following days will see a similar structure, with the carnival and shopping experiences opening at 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and even earlier over the weekend. 

Notable musical performances include Josh Weathers at the Buffalo Social Club and the duo Rita Capuchina & Kevin Collins on Thursday at the Wine Tent. 

Jon Stork at the Buffalo Social Club and Darren Morrison at the Wine Tent are taking the stage on Friday.

The event peaks on Saturday, April 20, with an extended carnival running from noon to 11 p.m., a livestock premium sale at 2 p.m., and the Cinch Chute Out rodeo competition at 7:30 p.m. 

Josh Ward will perform at the Buffalo Social Club from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Dayci Oswalt will provide the musical backdrop in the Wine Tent from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The festivities wrap up on Sunday, April 21, with free gate admission. The carnival and vendor booths will have adjusted hours, and attendees can enjoy a car show from noon to 5 p.m. 

A Mexican Rodeo is scheduled for 2 p.m., and Grupo Proyecto will perform at the Buffalo Social Club from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
