Last Day of Early Voting Begins With 3,000 Votes

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — As the final day of early voting unfolds, Tom Green County has reported a turnout with 3,050 residents already having cast their ballots, according to Vona Hudson, the county's Elections Administrator.

Today's turnout began with 98 votes cast this morning, April 30. 

On Monday, 623 voters went to the polls, and 556 votes were recorded on Friday. 

Residents are voting on several local items, including the election of the San Angelo Chief of Police, a bond proposal for Christoval ISD, and a School Board Trustee election in Wall ISD.

Polls are set to close at 7 p.m. today. 

Voting takes place at the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building, 113 W. Beauregard St, on the first floor.

Last week, voter turnout figures were consistent, with 422 voters on Monday, 480 on Tuesday, 438 on Wednesday, and 433 on Thursday. 

May 4 is Election Day, and polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
