SAN ANGELO – A Pacific cold front Wednesday will bring cooler temperatures and rain chances to the Concho Valley for the remainder of Holy Week.
According to Meteorologists with the National Weather Service office in San Angelo, a Pacific cold front has entered West Texas Wednesday bringing unseasonably cooler temperatures. Highs Wednesday will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s after highs in the mid 90s Monday and Tuesday.
An upper level disturbance will move into the area Friday bringing the chance for scattered showers mostly in the northern Hill Country east of the Concho Valley. A warming trend will return to the area by the weekend.
Look for high temperatures Thursday in the upper 60s and on Friday temps will struggle to reach 60 degrees. There is a 40% chance of rain Friday tapering off Friday night into Saturday morning.
Temperatures will be back up to around 80 degrees by Sunday afternoon.
