Let's Get Nuts: The Flash Drops Second Movie Trailer

HOLLYWOOD— Worlds collide as The Flash drops a second movie trailer.

After being stuck in development Hell, going through several directors, DC Studios changes, and the main actor of the movie ending up in the news for all the wrong reasons, The Flash is going to be released into theaters.

The Flash synopsis reads:

Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian— albeit not the one he’s looking for.

Ezra Miller returns as Barry Allen in the first feature film to focus on the Flash. Miller played the speedster in Justice League and Zack Snyder’s Justice League as well as cameoed on The Flash CW series.

Two Batmans also return in The Flash as Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will both play the Caped Crusader. Also coming back is Michael Shannon as General Zod, who played the Superman big bad in Man of Steel.

With Affleck’s Batman coming back, one would think Henry Cavill’s Superman would return but, in his place, Sasha Calle’s Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl, makes her big screen debut.

IT and IT: Chapter Two director Andy Muschietti ended up in the director’s chair and this story will pull from the “Flashpoint: comic series. The “Flashpoint: comic series is from 2011 that was written by Geoff Johns. In that world, Barry Allen wakes up and discovers everything around him has changed and his mother is alive. Wonder Woman and Aquaman are at war and Batman is Thomas Wayne as in that timeline, Bruce was killed in Crime Alley.
