If you love camping out, Hard Rock, motorcycles, people watching, games, and the whole Sturgis vibe, but never have managed to make it that far, look no further. The 8th Annual 4B Bike and Music Fest in Brownfield, Texas kicked off Thursday and will run through Saturday, August 13.

Established in 2009 by founders Steve and Anita Trevino, out of Brownfield Texas, the rally started as a fundraiser for a mother when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Over the years, funds raised have also helped others afflicted with the disease in order to help meet their financial needs. The first rally was held in 2009 in a back yard with just 700 bikers, and by 2011, the event had to be moved to a 400-acre location where over 3,000 bikers attended.

In 2013, David (Happy) Labrava, from Sons of Anarchy, made a special guest appearance at the event, and by 2014, 6,000 people were in attendance. For that event, live musical guests included Warrant, L.A. Guns and Drowning Pool. Comedian Paul Rodriguez performed as well.

This year, 4B Bike and Music Fest is being held at 1761 Country Club Road in Brownfield, and has over 300 acres of free camping with 60 RV hook ups. Golf carts, ATV and UTVs are welcome but must have front and back lights. Veteran and Military discounts are available, and there are a variety of pass packages available for purchase. Organizers are hoping to surpass last year's attendance of over 7,000.

CEO, Carrie Hickson said, "As of Friday noon, there were around 3,000 people at the event and more lined up as far as one could see."

Over the three-day span, live music will be performed by bands including Saving Abel, Drowning Pool, Sons of Texas, Stitched Up Heart, Moonshine Bandits, Whiskey D., and the Cowgirls from Hell: a Pantera tribute band.

Included in the list of activities are a tattoo contest, poker run, motorcycle games, and other adult oriented competitions.

Hickson stressed, "Ours is an 'adult oriented rally,' so no kids will be admitted."

There have been a couple of changes to the schedule since its initial posting.

Hickson said, "The poker run will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning in Lubbock from Stanley Ford and Family Powersports, and then all will travel the 45-minute haul back on the 'Ride 2 Remember Cancer Ride,' leaving Backstage at 1 p.m., [and] ending up in Brownfield at the Italian Garden."

This is a tribute ride to show support for cancer survivors, and to remember those who have succumbed to the disease.

Organizers of the event wanted to make sure the public know, "We would like to take the time and express our appreciation and thank everyone who has helped this rally grow. This rally would not be successful without your support and everyone that has volunteered and participated."

Additionally, Hickson also wanted to specifically thank their major sponsors Stanley Ford and Family Powersports out of Lubbock, Texas and Sunny Nights Photography.
