San Angelo ISD Sends Out Important Reminders Ahead of 1st Day of School

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo ISD put out a list of important reminders for the upcoming 2023-24 school year on Tuesday, August 15. With the SAISD school year starting on Thursday, August 17, here are the important details that parents and students need to know.

Via the San Angelo ISD website:

“We are looking forward to our students returning to our campuses this Thursday, August 17, 2023. As SAISD prepares for back to school, we want to share a few reminders, the school district said."

 
  • Bell schedules for elementary, middle, and high school can be found here.
  • SAISD illness protocols will be followed if a student is sick. 
  • Please allow ample time to drop off and pick up your students during the first week of school. 
  • We remind all San Angelo drivers to please stop when a school bus extends its stop sign or turns on its flashing red lights. 
  • When a school bus is stopped with signs extended and/or red lights on, drivers on either side of the road must come to a complete stop. 
  • The SAISD 2023-2024 school year calendar is available in printable format here
  • Download this year’s school supply list. 
  • There is not a standardized school supply list for high school students. Supplies needed for high school courses will be communicated by each teacher beginning on the first day.
  • For all SAISD families, fill out your free and reduced lunch application prior to the start of school.
