Shannon Neurosurgeon to Hold Seminar on Concussions

The word "concussion" can be a scary term to someone unfamiliar with its causes, symptoms, and aftercare. According to the National Safety Council, every three minutes a child in the U.S. is treated for a sports-related concussion. Signs and symptoms of concussion include: confusion, forgetfulness, glassy eyes, disorientation, clumsiness or poor balance, slowed speech, changes in mood, behavior or personality.

There is no charge and the public is invited, but are encouraged to RSVP to: [email protected]. Beverages and light snacks will be provided.
