Woman Jailed for Stabbing Man With Scissors

 

SAN ANGELO— A San Angelo woman was arrested after stabbing her former boyfriend’s brother Sunday.

Jade Parker, 21, of San Angelo, has been arrested after showing up at her exe’s residence and stabbing his brother with a pair of scissors.

According to court documents, on June 18, 2023, San Angelo police were called to the 2100 block of Field Street regarding a stabbing incident. Upon arrived on scene, it was learned that from a witness that his ex-girlfriend, Parker, has shown up to his residence, unannounced, and tried to stab him with scissors. The witness said his brother was cut by Parker while trying to help.

After an interview with the victim, he said that he was inside the house when he heard a loud crash and saw Parker chasing the witness inside with scissors in hand, trying to stab him. The victim said he jumped up to intervene and was cut across the hand while doing so. The victim did not want to go to the hospital as the injury was minor.

The owner of the residence was interviewed who echoed the same thing the victim said. The man said he was able to remove the scissors from Parker’s hand before she fled the residence.

Parker was interviewed and waived her Miranda Rights and spoke with investigators. Parker said she arrived, uninvited to the residence, and wanted to speak with the witness. She did allegedly admit to chasing him into the residence and did have a pair of scissors and a pocketknife on her but did not intend to hurt anyone.

Parker was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility for burglary of a habitation and intend other felonies. She is currently an inmate being held on $75,000 bond.
