Homicide Investigation Underway After 2 Bodies Found Floating in the Llano River

 

KINGSLAND, TX – The Llano County Sheriff's Office has confirmed deputies found two bodies floating in the Llano River near Kingsland Saturday and the deaths are being investigated as homicides.  

According to information from the Llano County SO, the Llano County Sheriff's Office and Texas Rangers are investigating the deaths of two individuals that were found floating in the Llano River in Kingsland, Texas. 

On June 10, 2023 at approximately 10:11 a.m., the Llano County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call in reference to two individuals lying face down in the water, at the Slab in Kingsland. Llano County Deputies as well as Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Game Wardens responded to the scene. 

Once on scene, Deputies confirmed that the two were deceased.  Llano County Investigators were called in as well as Texas Rangers.  The two deaths are being investigated as homicides.  

The victims have been identified as Mark Baldwin and Kellie Leeann McCormick.  Both resided in Kingsland.
