Police Respond to Shooting in Dark Alley

SAN ANGELO, TX — Tuesday evening, San Angelo police responded to a report of a shooting in the 600 block of N. Jackson St. The incident happened at around 8:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, we witnessed an ambulance with lights and sirens illuminated rushing towards the hospital with police escort.

Three neighbors told us that they didn’t hear gunfire but they were told by a woman who called 9-1-1 — another neighbor — that the caller saw a man “slumped over” in the alleyway nearby.

Police did not stay for long and there is no crime scene tape that we could see. Police left before telling us what happened. But, based on some radio traffic we heard, we do not believe the investigation is over.

If this is the guy I think it is, the one that burned down his house, twice, he is a piece of work for sure.
