Reports: 2 Students Shot at Arlington Lamar High School Monday

 

ARLINGTON, TX – Two students were shot Monday morning at Arlington Lamar High School and a gunman is in custody. 

According to multiple sources, the shooting occurred at 7:30 a.m. Monday morning at the Metroplex High School where students were returning for the first day of classes following spring break. 

The extent of the students injuries have not been released.  

The shooter has not been identified.  

The school was in lockdown Monday morning.  Sources say when the lockdown is lifted, students will be sent home for the day.
