SAN ANGELO – 12 individuals were arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center over the last 24 hours on charges including Failure to Spay/Neuter, Criminal Trespass, and Assault.
27-year-old Rebecca Bennett of Paint Rock was arrested by San Angelo Police Tuesday morning for Going Off Bond for Possession of less than 1 gram of Meth. Kimble County is listed as the issuing authority. She was on bond for a series of charges stemming from an August 2021 shoplifting incident at the Northside Walmart on 29th St. She was accused of attempting to steal $207.59 worth of merchandise but dropped it and ran from employees when she was confronted outside. SAPD officers later found her and she was in possession of 1.1 grams of Meth and a glass pipe. She also had a Criminal Trespass Warrant (CTW). She was booked at 12:37 a.m. Valentine's Day morning and her bond was set at $20,000.
Armando Hernandez, 31, was arrested Monday morning by San Angelo Police for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence, Resisting Arrest, Failure to Identify and Failure to Spay/Neuter. He was booked onto jail at 7:56 a.m. Monday and is being held on bonds totaling 11,616.
