Manhunt Underway for Suspect After Brutal Murder of Midland Teen

MIDLAND – A Midland teen is dead following a shooting at an apartment complex on Wednesday night

According to the Midland Police Department, on Nov. 30 at around 5 p.m., officers with the MPD were dispatched to the 1900 block of N. Midland Drive, the Whispering Oates apartments, for the report of a gunshot victim.

When PD, EMS, and the Midland Fire Department arrived on scene and discovered a 17-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. The unidentified teen was rushed to Midland Memorial where he was later pronounced deceased.

As of now no murder suspect has been named and no arrest has happened. The teen's next of kin has been notified.
