Police: No Foul Play Suspected in Discovery of Dead Man in Local Motel Room

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A man was found dead in a motel room at the San Angelo Lodge, 1717 W. Beauregard Ave., this afternoon. Police were called at 12:40 p.m. to investigate the discovery in a second floor guest room.

Police said a pest control worker was exterminating in the motel’s guest rooms and discovered the dead man. He reported it as an unconscious person to police.

Police investigated and determined there was no foul play connected to the man’s death. Justice of the Peace J.P. McGuire formerly pronounced the man dead and determined the cause of death was natural, preliminary. Police did not say if an autopsy was ordered.

Police identified the man as Barney Boisse and stated he had a history of medical issues. His next-of-kin was notified before this story was published.
