DWI and Drug Possession Top New Year's Weekend Arrests

SAN ANGELO, TX. – A total of 38 San Angeloans started their 2018 New Year with some bad decisions and jail time.

During the holiday, a total of 7 people were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. A majority of the arrests for DWI were before New Year’s Eve because of the hazardous icy roadways yesterday.

The holiday was a busy one for the San Angelo Police Department with the continuous and constant calls of major motor vehicle accidents and the many people out trying to enjoy the holiday (a little too much).
