SAN ANGELO, TX – Beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Tom Green County Jail booked 56 individuals after being arrested by a variety of law enforcement agencies. Possession of marijuana and failure to pay court fees were the cause for many of the people detained.
For Victor Lombrana , 30, the charges were a bit more severe. He is currently being held for two charges of bail jumping and failure to appear, one charge of possession of marijuana, and a U.S. Marshall hold. Jail records indicate Lombrana’s bail is set at over $10,000; he has not been released.
Joshua Anthony Puga, 19, is currently in jail on two counts of burglary of habitation, one count of possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. For Puga, this is his fifth visit to the Tom Green County Jail since February of this year. His previous arrests include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, several charges of possession, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and other instances of burglary of habitation.
In total, there were 56 new arrest made between Tuesday morning and the early hours of Friday. With those arrests, 82 different charges were filed in just a few days; while 65 individuals were released during that same period of time.
