Help San Angelo Police Find Best Buy Robbery Suspects

SAN ANGELO, TX- A press release from the San Angelo Police Department this evening indicated that officials are still searching for the two suspects who pulled a knife on a Best Buy employee during last night's robbery (see our story here).

Public Information Officer Tracy Gonzalez stated, "Police were dispatched to the store located at 4325 Sunset Dr. around 8:20 p.m. for the report of a robbery."

After arriving on scene, officers interviewed Best Buy employees who told them "two men were attempting to leave the store with stolen merchandise when a store employee confronted the men," Gonzalez stated.

When the employee confronted the men, a "scuffle ensued." During the scuffle, one of the suspects pulled a knife and pressed it to the employee's arm, Gonzalez explained.

The Best Buy employee was able to deter the suspects, and they then began to flee on foot towards Batteries Plus, in the same shopping center.

The employee suffered a minor scrape during the encounter with the suspects.

Surveillance in the area showed that one suspect appears to be a while male, and the other appears to be a Hispanic male, both in their late twenties to early thirties. No arrests have been made. Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying these men.
