SAPD: Adult Subject Assaulted Two Juveniles Possibly with Pole

SAN ANGELO, TX – Two juveniles went to Shannon and Community Medical Centers this evening after an adult subject assaulted them, possibly with a pole, at Cross Keys Apartments, located at 1222 S. Bryant Blvd.

At about 5:40 p.m., San Angelo Police responded to the apartment complex for the report of injury to two children.

Officer Jones said two juveniles “came by an apartment” at the complex, and officials are not sure what happened or why, but an adult subject assaulted the two, possibly with a pole.

“This is what the juveniles told us, but we don’t have any other witnesses right now,” said Officer Jones.

Officer Jones couldn’t provide the ages of the kids, but the gender of all the people involved in the incident are female, he believes. However, the case is still being investigated.

One victim went to Shannon, and the other to Community Medical Center.

“We don’t know the extent of their injuries,” said Jones. He added that the doctors are still determining that information.

The adult subject suspected to be involved in the assault remains locked inside the apartment. Police are attempting a response at this time.
