Pickup Truck Fire Extinguished by Wall VFD

 

WALL, TX - A pickup truck caught fire near Brodnax Lane and Highway 87 South early Sunday morning, according to the Wall Volunteer Fire Department.

The fire was reported at around 7:30 a.m. Firefighters arrived on the scene and extinguished the flames before conducting a “mop-up” operation to ensure all hot spots were cooled.

Units 107 and 108 were assigned to the response.

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety provided additional assistance at the scene.

The Wall Volunteer Fire Department stated they are proud to serve the community with professional emergency services.
