Train Derails in Abilene in Triple Digit Heat

 

ABILENE, TX – Ten railroad cars left the tracks Saturday afternoon in Abilene during the heat of the day and investigators are looking for the cause of the derailment.  

Reports indicate there were no injuries and no vehicles involved.  

The train cars derailed at 4:42 p.m. near Pioneer and South 1st St.
