WATCH: Brand New Ford Bronco Flips in Collision with a Jeep

SAN ANGELO, TX- Thursday afternoon, San Angelo police responded to a major rollover crash at the intersection of S. Bryant Blvd. and Avenue N that involved a brand new 2022 Ford Bronco.

According to police, a white Ford Bronco with dealer tags was traveling northbound on S. Bryant Blvd. and the black Jeep Compass was eastbound on Avenue N.

Several witnesses said the Jeep Compass had a green light and the Ford Bronco had a red light but the Bronco disregarded the red light and struck the Jeep Compass. This causes the Ford Bronco to flip onto the roof of the vehicle.

No injuries have been reported from this crash and a citation will be issued to the driver of the Bronco for disregarding a red light.

The crash also took out a signal light and the timetable for the repairs on the traffic light are unknown at this time.

The intersection is dangerous. This is the same intersection where 4 teenagers who were fleeing police collided with a vehicle driven by a standout ASU baseball player. That crash resulted in the death of 3 individuals a year ago.
