GRAPHIC VIDEO: Jeep Destroyed by Fire on the Side of a Highway in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO – The driver of a Jeep SUV that caught fire and burned on S. Bryant Blvd. near Ben Ficklin Rd. escaped the blaze without injury.  

San Angelo Fire Fighters and Police Officers were called to the scene of a vehicle fire Thursday afternoon.

Witnesses say the driver got out of the vehicle quickly without injury.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation.  

The vehicle appears to be a total loss.
