Massive Truck Fire Shuts Down I-10 Near Sonora

 

SONORA, TX – The Sutton County Sheriff's Office issued a notice Thursday afternoon urging drivers to avoid I-10 near Sonora due to an 18-wheeler that caught on fire. 

According to the SCSO, on Jan. 14, I-10 near mile marker 381 was closed going eastbound after a semi truck caught on fire.

Fire and EMS are also on scene and have confirmed that no one was injured in the incident. 

Crews are currently cleaning up the carnage.
