WATCH: Truck Hauling Cattle Catches Fire on US 67 Near San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A truck hauling cattle apparently caught fire early Friday morning on US 67 northeast of San Angelo.

Radio reports indicate firefighters with the Quail Valley Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the area on US 67 near the Old Ballinger Highway.

Reports indicate the driver attempted to unhitch the truck from the trailer.

The trailer is believed to have been hauling about 40 animals.

First responders called for a tow truck from the scene.

At this time there is no information on whether the cattle were harmed or what started the fire.
